Simulated experience using demonstration data

Ways in

One account, many channels. Every channel writes to the same record, and an act counts the same whichever channel recorded it.

Participation equivalence

  • One act counts once, whichever channel recorded it.
  • The evidence standard does not change by channel; a text message act starts self-reported, exactly like an app act.
  • No channel is required. A participant can move between channels without losing their record.
  • Channels with no data connection carry counted acts only; estimated outcomes are calculated centrally.

The channels

  • Android app

    Shown as a demonstration

    Anyone with a smartphone.

The full experience: five actions, live Sol Sequence, teams, My Earth.

    Connection needed
    Normal
    Identity
    Signed-in account, carried between devices
    Logging
    Full
  • Low-bandwidth web

    Working in this prototype

Anyone on a slow or metered connection.

The same pages without animation or heavy imagery. Action logging and the live counter stay.

    Connection needed
    Very low
    Identity
    Same account as the app
    Logging
    Full
  • Live stream

    Shown as a demonstration

    The broadcast audience.

The performance, the artist action moment and a link that carries straight into the five actions.

    Connection needed
    Normal
    Identity
    Account linked on first act
    Logging
    Counted acts only
  • QR code

    Working in this prototype

People at a venue, a watch party or a shop counter.

A scan opens the action, pre-set to the city and the team hosting it.

    Connection needed
    Low
    Identity
Guest act, claimable later by the same account
    Logging
    Counted acts only
  • Text message

    Architecture only, not built

People with any phone and no data.

A short code replies with the five actions; a number logs one.

    Connection needed
    None
    Identity
Number linked to the account once
    Logging
    Counted acts only
  • USSD menu

    Architecture only, not built

Feature-phone users on networks without data.

A dialled menu lists the actions and confirms one act at a time.

    Connection needed
    None
    Identity
Number linked to the account once
    Logging
    Counted acts only
  • Watch party

    Working in this prototype

    Anyone gathering around one screen.

The host logs on behalf of the room, one act per person, counted once.

    Connection needed
    Low
    Identity
Host account, guests counted as party members
    Logging
    Counted acts only
  • School or workplace portal

    Shown as a demonstration

Students and staff acting as a team.

A team joins with one code; the institution sees its own progress, never an individual's record.

    Connection needed
    Low
    Identity
Institutional sign-in mapped to a team
    Logging
    Full
  • Approved partner platform

    Architecture only, not built

Customers of an energy, transport or retail partner.

The partner confirms the act from its own data, so the record can reach partner verified.

    Connection needed
    Normal
    Identity
Account matched to the partner's customer record, with consent
    Logging
    Full

Channel status refers to this prototype only. No platform, carrier or partner agreement is confirmed.

Try the low-bandwidth channel

Low-bandwidth mode

Removes animation and heavy imagery, and asks for compressed pictures. Action logging and the live counter keep working.
